My back pain resolved after 2 acupuncture treatments after struggling for 6 months with other medical treatments. After only 6 weeks of treatment, my energy level is way up. Overall I am feeling much better. I’ve stopped taking one of three medications so far. Headaches and tiredness are gone.

My first visit to Nan’s Acupuncture & Wellness Clinic was May 2008. I had been having problems with my menstrual cycle, and my gynecologist could not attribute the symptoms to anything specific. When I had extended menstruation times, I felt lethargic, weak, and actually tested as anemic. I knew something was wrong but not what. I also had the anxiety and worry that when along with it.

I had sought treatment from a gynecologist. This doctor prescribed a hormone treatment for one month at three different times over the five years. Things would seem normal and then get bad again. She still had no idea what caused the problem. She wanted to do a microwave treatment on my uterus lining to stop my uterus from producing a lining as a stop-gap measure, knowing she wasn’t treating the underlying cause of the problem. I told her that I believed my body was telling me something was wrong, and that I needed to figure out what.

I’d been having the problem, along with other related symptoms of fatigue, foggy headedness, and more, for over five years.

I found Dr. Nan’s clinic in the Yellow Pages. After interviewing several other acupuncturists, I felt most comfortable with Dr. Nan’s experience and came in for a consultation and initial treatment.

After the first three treatments, my cycle regulated. I continued coming three times a week for the first two months, and as needed after that time, and my cycle stayed normal and has been like clockwork for over a year. There was one occasion when I had a relapse, but after three treatments, everything was normal.

I came in for the above-stated condition but have ended up rediscovering a healthy energy and life that I had forgotten. I thought it was normal to stop sleeping well as you got older, but with treatment I started sleeping through the night instead of waking every 3-4 hours. My quality of sleep improved, leaving me feeling refreshed in the morning and energized throughout the day. Dr. Nan identified and worked on the underlying cause of my problem, which had been affecting so many other areas of my life, and instead of taking medication and continuing to stress my internal organ functioning, leading to more problems down the road, my body takes care of itself. Regular “tune-up” treatments coupled with Tuina massage keep me feeling healthy, alert, and focused. My family has seen Dr. Nan for various issues as well, and we are all healthier as a result.

The best results for my aches and pains: I have experienced relief from my pains due to arthritis and back pain. Never believed it will help. Tried it so many times before at other centers with no results. At Nan’s Acupuncture I found the healing I never dreamed possible. God bless everybody.

Its true until after the 5th visit you dont know how many times you will need to come in, usually. As it was explained to me it takes a few treatments for most peoples body to react to acupuncture. After you have had a few treatments you will be able to know how fast your body is reacting and how well it works for you. There was a package presented to me for my suggested treatment plan that was for a year and a few thousand dollars in which I would save a huge percent, which made treatments affordable for me, and cheaper than my normal Dr. It was only because I needed long term care. This is NOT the case for most people. And there are options to pay as you go or to purchase a smaller package. They are only concerned with helping your body heal and trying to save you money, it is unfortunate that someone would implicate any other motive. I am very thankful to Dr. Nan for relieving me of chronic pain, and would recommend him to anyone.
